Which tubes in the Road King II are the standard 12AX7s and which are the SPAX7A. The Mesa site says it puts SPAX7As in all the "critical gain" stages.
Chinese pre amps...SPA is supposed to be special selected. Invest in some different 12AX7's and try 'em. You will be suprised how much better the amp sounds.
