I have heard some clips of a Fuchs Blackjack 21 II that sounds really good to my ear. I have a Mark IIc+ and of course it sound beautiful to me. It's only down fall is keeping it down to small room levels. I've done the pedal thing and still revert to them for the little gigs but I still feel my best tone is through the amp it self with maybe a good reverb in the loop etc.
I don't like the Mesa V:25 I don't get why they used el-84's they are just the wrong power tube for me.
