still finding new tones in the IV even after 5 years.....

the other night while waiting for band members to show up for practice, I was messing around with some settings. I normally run my Lead Drive and Gain about 7-8. This time, I backed down the gain to 5-6 and bumped the drive up to 8-9 and it sounds nice and searingly saturated, yet totally tight and punchy. 8)

i hear that...roll the gain to like 4 pushed IN, drive to your taste...you can get anything from nice, very clean cleans, to great broken up cleans, to bluesy rock tones...mind you my lead channel is set for soloing 99% of the time...it's almost a shame to just keep your settings the same on the IV with all it's tones..
