Since when did the stiletto ace become stage 2 ??? what year??? Or were only the deuce and trident that came stage 2 ???

The Ace has always been a Stage II as it was not introduced until the Stage II changeover.

The Deuce and Trident exist in both Stage I and II variations.

I think it was 2006 when Mesa updated the Stilettos to stage II

Yep, Chris at Mesa told me that they develped the Ace after the Deuce and Trident had been out for a while. They discovered things that could be improved - those improvements became stage II for Deuce and Trident. He said the stage II deuce and trident are voiced exactly the same as the ace now - the only difference being the output transformer.
