Sticky foot pedal switch

Hi all,

I have a 2005/2006 LSS with a weird problem with the foot switch. When I switch from channel 2 to 1, it works fine, but when I go from 1 to 2, it takes 1 and 1/2 pushes to get it to go to channel 2. (A tricky move when playing a gig.) Does anyone think a quick squirt of lubricant would solve this, or do I just need to replace the switch?

Sorry for the simple minded question, but my amp guy wants $75 just to look at the pedal.

Spray it with some electrical contact cleaner from the Rat(radio)Shack. Then actuate it several times. If that don't work, you can replace the switch for a couple of bucks.
