This might be a stupid question, but if you have a stereo power amp (like a 20/20, 2:fifty, or 2:90) and you were to run it with one Thiele, what do you do with the other channel? I'm assuming that it needs a load on it, so do you need a load box or something?

Turn the volume to 0. Sometimes it's stated in some of the manuals to turn the presence to 10 while not mentioned in other manuals.

I don't think it's a stupid question. I'm in the same situation and am wondering if there is something we can plug into the other channel so that in case we accidentally turn up the volume, we're not gonna hurt anything.

Yep. Simply build a dummy load.
Buy a 50/100/200W 8ohm resistor depending on your amp's power (you need twice it's max power), mount it on a big dissipator or metal case (you can add a fan if you want but you need an external power supply).
The speaker cable has 2 conductors, so each goes to one side of the resistor. Simple.

k, thanks for the help

Another question, couldn't you in theory slave one side of a power amp into the other if you use a load box?
