Speakers for a 2x12 cabinet

I currently have a 4x12, but I am thinking of either purchasing or building a 2x12 for smaller gigs. The few speakers I've looked into that I like are the Celestion GT12T-75, Mesa C90 and Reissue 25. All 8 ohms. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with them. I'd be pairing this cab with a Mesa Mark IV head.

For a 2x12 cab I would go for the C90's... they IMO sound better than V30's in a 2x12 cab. Mine are in my rectifier 2x12.. The tone is more managable with any gain or master volumes.. You have a better tone, you wont have to blow people's hair back in the front of the stage and you got a great tone response rather than a harsh V30.

I use a Roadking 1 and I would recommend Mesa C90's in a 2x12 rect cab
