Sound but no SOUND!!

I know the heading is a little vague. My issue was at a gig this past Saturday night. At the sound check everything worked well. I have a TriAxis into a G Major to a 50/50 power amp going out stereo to 2 single 12 recto cabs. This is controlled by a Ground Control Pro. If I remember right Im using Lead 1 Yellow. After the sound check I switched the amp to "stand by". Everything was on for about a 1/2 hour before we played. When we started the show and after the amp was switched on, there was no distortion. I had sound, but no distortion sound. And no matter what channel I switched to on the GCP and the channels would change on the TriAx, nothing happened. It was only after I had physically changed the channel settings by had did the amp return to my normal settings. Any advice on this???

How is the G-Major connected? Effects Loop or after the Triaxis? If it's NOT connected in the effects loop, and you have the effects loop activated on the Triaxis you'll get no sound. Not exactly what your describing, but could be a start?

and the problem you describe is still in effect it didnt clear? it looks like your volume on the g-major might be set too low and distortion comes out as clean... check your global settings to see if noone played with your volumes...
