At my very fresh myspace site, I made this evening.

http://www.myspace.com/tonykareid

There are 2 songs, one intense instrumental shred tune, with pure markIIC+ tone, callled Acid Pain,
and one relaxing Eventide FX tune, called Julies sister.

And there is even a nice photo of me as well

Enjoy

Tony

I dig the tone on the first track a lot, the second one was cool too but hard to tell how much was tone and how much were effects, I take it you're a Vai fan based on your gear!

Thanks!
The second tune is an acoustic guitar improvised through two huge presets effects in series on the Eventide. It's a one take session done on an Orville, which I had before the H8000, but both the Orville and H8000 has two sets of DSP's, like they're two effect units in one box.

This stuff is more like Robert Fripps soundscapes than Vai, but anyway, I like them both a lot.

Yeah I didn't mean the music, saw your Jem and you mentioned an Eventide :)

Song is VERY frippish indeed, I'm surprised it's one track, sounds very good and full.

Damn!! Very, very impressive! You can def. hear the IIC+ all over the place, I really love the huge undertone of the Mark IIc+. I hope to get my hands on a Mark IIc+ one day, just like everyone else on this board! *sigh*

amazing tone from your mkIIC+! what are the pickups on your guitar?
The guitar I used on this recording is an Ibanez custom Rg model, with the Dimarzio petrucci bridge pickup the first one, not the D-sonic that John uses now.
That pickup sounds awesome with the C+ and basswood body.

This guitar is going to have a sustainer innstalled, when it arrives in my mailbox;-)

Take care
Tony
