Chicago...home of da flat "A"
great condition: geq, reverb (new tank), Simulclass, all 3 footswitches. Sent to Mike B for service a year ago (have paperwork)...he cleaned it up, bumped up gain on R2, tweaked reverb circuit and replaced tank, and replaced a few caps (not a full recap...he said it wasn't necessary...then talked about adding to the landfill :D ). Has Sovtek 6L6s and JJ EL34s, mix of TungSol and Chinese 12ax7s. I'm based in Chicago, will ship to CONUS. $830, plus S/H

How much gain does it have compared to a mark IIC+ or mark IV? Will it do metal on its own?

Sorry for the dumb questions.

All 3 of those marks have gobs of gain, more than most people need, IMHO. They are built for metal, that's for sure. The Mark III has a more aggressive gain than a IV. I haven't played a C+, so I'd defer to the experts on this board.
