Hey. Where are you located. Ive been looking for a Dual Rec lately and none of my stores locally have one. If your located close I'd like to test it before I buy. Thanks.

Ive never played one because Ive never had the money to buy one so now that I have the money Im looking for one. Sorry im like 700 miles from maine so I guess Ill just have to keep looking. Thanks though.

OK GOOD LUCK...I THINK YOU WILL BE VERY HAPPY WHEN YOU FINALLY PLAY ONE...VERY TONEFUL,POWERFUL ROCK AMPLIFIERS!

BAD TRADER ALERT!!!!

I purchased this amp from this jerk. He sent it to me cracked and broken up.

However, I did make the mistake of emailing him after I recieved the package that it was in good order. I noted that I didn't try the amp yet (as I was at work) I pulled it out of the box, looked it over and packaged it up.

2hrs later when I had time to play it... I noticed the crack while inserting the tubes and the underside was cracked all to HELL! You cannot see it unless you get up under there (like inserting tubes)

The head shell is pretty much screwed. $200 to replace.

I emailed this guy everday and called his house and his cell once a day... he's a pussy and wont call me back. He avoids my calls and won't take responsibility for this shabby job.

Oh, what's worse... is the amp had $1100 insurance, but since he packaged it up like a moron...

NO BUBBLE WRAP
NO FOAM
NO PEANUTS

He just threw it in a box with some USPS priorty boxes surrounding it like that's going to protect a 57ibs amp.

This guy is a piece of SHYT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

His name is Tim

His Home # 207 799 4803
His cell # 207 423 0956

And his email addy -- [email protected]

HE'S A RIP OFF!!!!

Well considering the packing job, perhaps it broke while in transit. No excuse for the guy, perhaps he was/ is clueless about shipping and packing properly. That being said I am in Portland from time to time. My fiance works there every day, and I know many many people in Portland (it's a small town). Would you like me to pay him a visit on your behalf and at the very least try to get an answer in person?

It "could" have broke during transit. But it suspicious that he won't return emails or phone calls. We had great communication up to this point.

Also, the damage of the amp Vs. the box not being smashed doesnt make much sense either.

worse packing job I have ever saw.

I actually thought that too, that maybe he was on vacation. Until today when I emailed him to call me, he replied with a copy $ paste of my initial email that I sent 20 minutes after it arrived.... stating that "the amp appeared in good order, but didn't have the chance to play it yet"

After I had a free moment to finally test it (approx 1-2hrs after arrival) I noticed the damage when I was installing the tubes.

He won't reply to my phone calls or emails... basically his action appear guilty as charged.

I had no choice but to call the carrier, they asked me to describe how it was packaged... when I proceeded to tell them, they said that they won't cover it because it sounds like a total hack job. (and it was)

They're still willing to send an adjuster out... but I know they won't cover this.

I've made several online deals, I NEVER been through this sort of nonsense!
