Top notch amp but I am just not a tube guy. This had to go to support the purchase of an incoming Eagle.
5w/50w 6L6 power and seems to be Mesa's take on a Blackface.
2 stages per channel with 2 channels and each with a switchable contour control for a total of 8 possible voices just at the preamp. Beautiful reverb.
I personally think this amp is great for blues or rock. Some dig it for jazz. I don't think this is good for modern metal.
When I purchased this, there was a repaired tear in the tolex on the bottom (pictured) and a small tear in the grill cloth. The original black grill cloth was replaced with the the black & cream one pictured. I still have the original black one if desired. I have a blue (installed) and red pilot lamp jewel. Comes with the original footswitch and tubes as well as a Mesa amp cover.
Runs perfect.
