So far so good on the channel switching lag! :D

But I do have a question...

I noticed that the Roadster combos have a cooling fan in them, unlike the head. I jammed on it for about an hour at bedroom volumes and the head was putting off nearly as much heat as my rev G does after hours of venue volume.

I was just wondering if this is normal?

Sorry I can't help with the heating issue but that looks awesome. Hows the clean channel on it?

Granted I have only got to play it at bedroom volume... but so far, the cleans are amazing! It really nails the Lonestar reverb! Both low gain channels sound great... as do the high gain channels. The cleans are very glassy and shimmering and the dirtys are very thick and they have plenty of gain on tap.

I will be taking it to the rehearsal spot after work today... I will be able to give a more in-depth review of it then.

Whats the deal with some Roadster lagging but some don't? There's another post on here today about the lag?

Mine has a very slight lag... if measured, it would likely be less than a half second. If you think about all the things the amp has to do when you switch channels, it is almost a surprise that it is so fast. It has to match wattage options and reverb options and rectification options and not to mention the entirely different gain structures you can have on different channel voicings... all in less than a half second.

It is not a hindrance on anything I do... and I do a lot of channel switching.
