Hey guys.

I was just wondering, in order to get the best sound out of your Recto, should I bypass the loop, or keep it on. Because I noticed that when you play through the amp with loop bypassed, the amp channel master serves as your main volume on the amp, but If you choose to play with the loop on. I noticed that you can use the output control for your volume control.

Also If I want to play the amp with the output control activated on it, where should my send/return knobs be set to on the back of the amp, in order to achieve the best tone possible from the amp :?

Thanks

I play with mine on at all times, with a delay in there thats on and off depending on the song.

It has a bit of a difference, which was big enough for me to not want to turn it off ever again.

Start out with your send around 12:00 and your mix at 100%. I set the loop master control around 3:00, then adjust the individual channel volumes from there.

if using fx you must have the loop active. your front output knob now adjusts the overall volume, it also helps in setting your fx levels. i prefer it on even without fx, because you can set your individual channels and then control all three with one knob!! also remember these amps have a paralell fx loop. like a mixers. if you use fx set your mix knob on your fx unit to max or close to it. adjust your mix knob on the back of your amp to your liking usually around 10%. it will take some tweaking, remember also these brutes like to be loud. so CRANK it up. some find this tricky and cant seem to adjust things rite so take your time.
take care

Right i see what you mean, But I have just one question to ask you about using the output control knob?

Do I adjust the Output control before or after the Master channel volume has been set on the amp?

adjust it after you have your vol set on your other 3 channels. i usually run mine around 1200 noon.
