My current settings.

Volume - 5.5
Master - 4.5
Treble - 8
Bass - 5
Middle - 5
Reverb - 3
Lead Drive - 8
Lead Master - 6
Lead Fat: ON
Lead Bright: ON

Volume - 9
Master - 3
Treble - 7
Bass - 2
Middle - 7
Reverb - 0
Lead Drive - 5.5
Lead Master - 10
Lead Fat: ON
Lead Bright: ON

FYI- I'm into high gain, sweet leads, Dream Theater/John Petrucci Tones. I'm not saying that my settings are were JP's are, they are probably far from it since I recently landed a Studio Pre. But my sites are aimed toward getting his tones and personalizing them for my style.

classic V on EQ
no indication on Lead Bright and Lead Fat.
 
My Petrucci-crunch:

Volume - 6
Master - 4
Treble - 7,8
Bass - 2,3
Middle - 4,5
Reverb - 0
Lead Drive - 6,5
Lead Master - 4
Lead Fat: ON
Lead Bright: ON

Graphic EQ: "Slight V", with lowered bass, slightly raised mids.
Power amp is Mesa 50/50
 
thanks for sharing. The settings are 7 or 8, ...not 7.8, 2.3, 4.5 correct? I know that range makes a big deal, but just trying to pin point the sound from your settings. I take it that its anywhere between 7 or 8; 2 or 3; 4 or 5... when you had the commas in your post.

Nope. I Know it sounds weird to pinpoint your knobs like that, but with the right tubes, those little moves truly make difference. The rest of tone is in your hands ;)
