Ok ok, so ive had this thing for 3 weeks. And i made the mistake of going to guitar center and playing a Roadster head...
Its uhm.... exactly what i'm looking for. Except... i didn't know i was looking for it.

Anyhoo i'm sort of torn now. So i will make a semi effort to sell it here. Its serial number MKV-200. It is of course in perfect condition ( wont even let my wife LOOk at it lol ). Now i do NOT have the slip cover because i am still waiting on the dealer to get me one from mesa. They did however get me the manual. I will be happy to include it, and i will continue to hound my dealer until i get the cover, and will forward that to you also.

I have great feedback on ebay (t2mike), and im on the good deals list on Harmonycenral (t2mikeman). Freehandarson on HC recently bought my VHT 50/CL.

I posted a pic somewhere on here of the amp. it hasnt changed.

So basically you get the much coveted Mark V, for $1750 plus $60 shipping ( its 81 lbs!!!).

t2mike2 at yahoo . com if you are interested. or you can give me a ring at eight oh 4 921 six 6 six three (doing that so google bots etc dont pick up my phone number).

where in virginia are you? i'll be going up there first third of July.

PS you should ask a lot more for that amp

Im in Lorton Va, near the mixing bowl (Just outside of DC).

Yeah i am actually asking 1800 locally on craigslist. But im one of those people who gets angry when someone sells something used for like 10 bucks less than they paid brand new, its just kinda wrong to me. But it is kinda funny how people associate price with quality. It will probably be more likely to sell if i raise the price lol.

i bumped to price to match my local asking price, you were right, i was low balling myself.

If it doesnt sell in few days tho, im just going to take it down. i want a roadster, but if i dont sell this quickly and painlessly, i will definitely start to obsess over it ( research every day, scanning ebay ads etc ... im pretty sure i have OCD seriously) , and i really dont feel like doing that to myself again lol. (thats what happened when i was trying to sell my vht, constantly researching the MKV and worrying about selling the VHT , just too much stress).

Don't worry-- the Roadster is an amazing amp, the other guitarist in my band has one and it lives at my house.

From everything I have heard of the Mark V you're not losing anything by going to a Roadster, just a different flavour.

The only thing you are losing is being the owner of an ICONIC line of amps, that all go down in history as, well...... The Mark Series....

well i got one call today. the guy was going to come by but he couldnt get off work early enough, so he decided sometime this weekend.

So... i went to GC to play the roadster again...
and it sounded like BUTT, until i ... i switched to spongy.

but honestly , i ... dont know what i was smoking. It sounded good, but once the volume came up it wasnt quite so nice. Honestly i think it was so noisy yesterday when i tried it that i lost some of the detail..

So basically, i am no longer selling my Mark V.

That dude should have jumped on the oppourtunity, cuz she's mine now...

A lot of people would pay extra to not have to wait (search for KLON). Or return it to the store?!?!

Why in the heck don't you put it on a 5 day auction with starting bid of $1,800 and see what you get?
because as you can see i am prone to impulsivity lol.
