John Ziegler was sick last nite on guitar. Dude plays lots of notes man. Sweep picking, etc. Actually all of those guys were on (except the bassist wasn't so hot). I have some video clips, if they're not too big I'll try to upload them somewhere. I zoomed in on Danny's face, that guy smiles a lot and ordered at least 3 red bull vodka's. The keyboardist/vocalist and guitarist weigh in at close to 800-900 lbs total no joke.
The Diamond Phantom was loud (4x12 diamond cab), heavy and sick looking with that green glow. They did a SRV and zep cover. Those amps all seem to be EL34 (winged C) amps. Nice thick heavy sound but he used a lot of effects and nice pinched harmonics. Couldn't tell if the clean channel was good or not b/c he was using the overdrive/gain most of the time.
If you live in LA area, I highly recommend you check them out. Pretty heavy rock, but don't expect any Tool odd-times, etc. good stuff. Buy they do a dual drum solo at times, that was interesting.
