PRICE $900 OBO

I'm getting married and trying to downsize my guitar rig to fund the wedding and honeymoon. I'll be sad to get rid of this, and I'll probably regret it later, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

This thing is really heavy, so I don't want to ship it, but if you're willing to pay the costs on top of everything, then that's okay with me!

I'm sure you all know all about this beast. It's the king of the DC line. Heck, it's the best Mesa I've ever played. Mine's in great condition, no big tears or scratches or anything and the aluminum tube guard is INCLUDED!

For more info and pics, here's the craigslist ad:

also available:

Marshall JMC 900 Lead 1960B 4x12 cab with Celestion V30's $450
Peavey XXX 4x12 cab $350
Keeley Java Boost (military grade version) $125
Ibanez AD9 delay $75
Boss Compression/Sustainer $40
Boss Flanger $45

Help me have a good wedding!

Damn, I hate to see you let your stuff go. Congrats on the wedding, but isn't there any other way to raise money?

I don't believe that I've ever come across anyone who's sold their rig and NOT regretted it.

Alright, forget this thread. I just did a killer mod to this thing, giving it more gain that I could dream of

On the lead channel, I bypassed the fixed tone stack after V2a, going from pin 1 on V2 to the gain pot with a .047uf cap and a 480k resistor (one, then the other). I also tried this with a .022uf cap first, and there was a difference, but I had been doing mods for a while and knew that ear fatigue had probably set in enough where I couldn't say which one I would like better the next day.

Here's a crummy little stock "metal" clip I recorded for you guys...

No EQing of any kind, just a little reverb on the lead part.

Keep in mind, I haven't played around with the settings too terribly much, but you get the idea.

P.S. I put as little effort into this as possible :D

Edit: I did a little mastering to the track (still no EQ, though).
