Thinking of trading my very much loved ROV combo for a Orange AD30. I have a Roadster so I think my recto tones are def saved. Thoughts?

The only reason I can see for keeping the RoV is as a backup, but if you don't need a backup you might as well get something cool for it.

Out of all the Orange's I've owned the AD30 is the only one I'd consider buying again. It was a sweet ass amplifier with a unique tone that felt great to play.

If I could find one I'd prefer the AD30R (single channel w/ reverb). I never found the dual channel setup particularly useful since the amp amp lacks the headroom to have anything resembling a clean channel, so I wound up with a darker crunch and a brighter crunch... the nuances of which disappeared the second the drummer hit his snare.

Yes no need for a backup anymore. Really the nice thing about is I run the ROV on 6L6 and the Roadster on EL34s.

So they make a single with reverb? How is Oranges reverb?

They used to make a single channel with reverb so you'll have to try to find one used. The Twin Channel is the only one they make now.

The reverb on the Rockerverbs is nothing special... but it works.
