Hi folks
just bought a rocket 44 that would blow the fuse on turn on.
I pulled it apart to look and found a group of resistors were
hot enough to discolor the board. They were a bunch of 365 ohm
resistors I think they are a part of the filament chain but this is a
guess. I dont have a schematic for it. I also took a look at the
tubes and they looked pretty burned up. I would'nt trust them.
one was a GT 12 ax7 replacement. I removed the resistors form the
board and they were way off in test. ordered some new resistors
and will get some tubes from the local store tomorrow.
I wished I had a schematic but they seem to be unavailable.....
