Just sharing my awesome experience with eurotubes set of 6v6s specially tailored for rectos. Wow! Amazing full lush warm but sparkly cleans with smooth and bold drive tones! I'm sold on these. I play a lot of funk reggae latin rock and searing Santana like solo and this thing just rips! I found the stock tubes to be too stiff and edgy for me.

Eurotubes. They have a set specifically for the roadster so that the bias is right. You have to use them in the el34 mode with the tube rectifier on.
Check their site. For me it's the best clean I've ever heard from a recto. The brit channel is finally so usable that I use it as my boosted clean tone.

Thanks for the info. Definitely sounds pretty interesting. I'm more interested now that you've endorsed it. My roadster is going on 2 1/2 years on the power tubes. Might go this route when it comes time to retube. I'm not metal guy so I'm glad to hear that it enhances the cleans. I am one of those rare people that actually prefers the brit mode, so it would be great if I can get more out of it.
