Last night mid-show, my roadster head suffered a MASSIVE drop in volume - easily more than a 50% drop - for no apparent reason.
I didn't have time to check the cables on the fly, and luckily as I'm a frontman, I was able to let our other guitarist carry the rest of the show while I just sang.
I won't have the opportunity to test my rig until the weekend now as I live in a small house with easily annoyed neighbours!
However, I did notice when packing my gear away last night that as soon as the effects loop was unplugged, my volume returned...
Any idea if this points to an issue on my pedal board, or with the amp/loop itself? Is there a recommended way to test/diagnose?
