hey all
Just picked up my roadster 212 combo ,great amp.
my dealer set it up for me and ran the speakers to the 16 ohm input.
i think it should be run to the 8 ohm conection but was hoping someone could confirm before i change it .Mesa tells me the 212's are 16 ohm speakers but i thought they were 2 8 ohms bringing the load 4 ohm

thanks in advance

Mesa uses 16 ohm speakers for the roadster...the amp had a 16, 8, and 2 4 ohm connections.

The 1 x 12 has 1x16 ohm speaker and uses the 16 ohm connection.

The 2 x 12 has 2x16 ohm speakers and uses the 8 ohm connection.

The roadster 2x12 cabinet is 8 ohm and when i plug that in with the amp speakers still connected, i use the two 4-ohm connections.

So, since you are just using the 2x12 combo you should be using the 8 ohm connection on the amp to the amps speakers.
