I have been reading all over this forum regarding this problem and haven't had any luck. The reverb is not working on any channel. I changed v4 with several other tubes I have that are good. I disconnected the plugs to the tank and reconnected them firmly with no luck. I have read the manual inside and out to make sure there isn't something I'm looking over. The switches are on, the reverb knob is all the way up on every channel, the footswitch is plugged in and the reverb button is engaged. What is weird is that you can hear the reverb tank doing its thing when you pick the amp up and move it while it is on, but no reverb makes contact with my guitar.

you probably already checked this but are the RCA cables from amp to tank connected the right way round?
I connected my maverick ones the wrong way round and i got same as you, tapping the tank made a noise but no reverb while playing.
(sorry if the advice is no good.)

Replace the v4 preamp tube. That is the reverb driver and the most likely culprit. I've went through a couple of those. Check your manual for the location. For some reason the online manual doesn't list the tube layout.
