I found that my roadking will have a noise when switching to channel 3 vintage, it will "pop", and it is quite strange....But it won't happen when i set the channel 3 to modern mode, is it normal to have this sound when switching channel?
Also, i though it doesn't have enough sensitivity when i use the dirty channel ... i don't know how to describe it because i'm not good at English..But anyway,i thought it is strange...
Does it have some problem? Or it is normal?
Please help,Thanks

Welcome to the Forum.

The channel switch pop is very common with the Rectos. Search the forum and you'll see plenty of threads about it. There was even an online petition about it at one time.

Try cycling through all the channels while still in standby, ending on the orange channel before you take it out of standby. This has eliminated all pops at stage volume for me on my Roadster.

I find that the amp will always pop at low (bedroom) volumes.

I'm not sure what you mean by "it doesn't have enough sensitivity when i use the dirty channel".

Have you ever tried boosting the front end of the amp with an OD or Clean Boost pedal? IMO it makes a big difference in the response and tone of the amp.
