Yesterday at practice, my Roadking Series 1 started acting up.
We had been playing for a few hours and decided to take a break.
The amp was placed on standby for the break.
After the break, when I took the amp off of standby, I had almost no volume.
I immediately bypassed the loop and the amp came back to life.
I changed the loop tube, the problem is still there.
I thought I would ask around before I open it up to see if anyone else has had this issue.
Setup:
Guitar --> Digitech GSP1101 input (don't laugh, I like it much more than my old TC gear)
Digitech Loop Send --> Roadking input
Roadking Loop 1 Send --> Digitech Loop Return
Digitech mono out --> Roadking Loop 1 Return
Loop 2 is turned off on all channels. Master Mix level for Loop 2 is maxed. Mix levels for Loop 2 on all channels are maxed, just in case it makes a difference.
When I first got the amp, the loop was acting up and I had to remove the I/O board on the back (what a freaking pain!) and re-solder all connections on the jacks. I'm really hoping that this is not the case with my recent problems.
Anybody have any suggestions?
