hi there,
just made a quick demo of the Road King (V1)
(the main focus is on the tone, not on the riff coverage :lol: )

I couldn't get any nice crunch with the 12AX7 Mesas then i went for a couple of changes, as mentionned by Ryan , Sovtek LPS are a very interesting match !
From V1 to V5 : Sov LPS, Svetlana, JJ803S, JJ and Sov LPS
EL 34 are Tungsol , 6L6 are STR 440.
I never managed to get any tight and focused tone by using the combination EL34 triode + vintage + Tube Rec.
