So I am running into this problem with my new Road King II... Effects Loop one drops out when effects loop two does not (with the exact same pedals in the line, just transferring the pedals from one loop to the other). However... both loops appear to be functioning properly....
- I am running the four cable method with a PODHD500X
- Bypassing both effects loops works fine
- Activating one or both effects loops with a patch cable in the loop only works fine
- Activating one or both effects loops with a single pedal in the line only works fine
- Activating effects loop two with the POD works perfectly, however same setup in effects loop one leads to a drop out.
What am I missing? This reeks to me of user error to me... however after calling Mesa and explaining above... even they were stumped. I have ruled out tube issues as the same 12AX7 runs both loops.
