I wanted to find out a little about MIDI, which I know very little. I talked to Ron at RJM. 760 597 9450 Uber helpful, friendly, knowledgable. Told me the RG16 has 8 amp and 8 effects controls. The MKV uses up all 8 of the amp controls though. The single rec only 3. To use the RG to control the Mesa and SR it would require using a few of the effects patches and have fewer left for effects. You can use and amp or effects gizmo to expand the RG by taking one position and adding back 8 switches. They do have an A/B/Y that will quitely switch amps. $ is considerable. For th RG/Mastermind ground control/cables it is 1200 ish SRP, the ABY is only 200 something. May go with the latter option and use the amp pedalboards. This was all new info/concepts to me. Ron is very patient explaining things. :lol:
