Is anyone else experiencing this?

If I have the reverb on, and I am playing on Channel 2 or 3, when i switch back to 1, I get sort of a swell of left over sound.
sort of like the tank is dumping residual sound or something.

i have never experienced this on any other amp including my mark IV,

anyone else having this problem?

They programmed in a dropout in the reverb when channel switching to account for the different gain/volume levels of all the various channels and modes. It's so that changing channels doesn't cause abrupt increases in reverb volume. It sounds like a reverb swell on the clean channel since it usually has the highest reverb levels.

It's common on Mesa's current lineup of amps.

Is there anything you don't know about these amps?

well good news is my amp is supposed to do that,

any way to reduce it to a minimum, it is very annoying

I only notice it when I finish a song and switch to channel 1 at the same time... I get a volume swell echo about a half second later. I don't find it noticeable when playing with a band.

Sorry I can't be more helpful, but it is what it is.
