Hello All,

This is my first post on this forum.

I just received my brand-spankin'-new Mark V head (in bubinga wood & wicker format, thank you!) and it's doing this odd thing where when I switch between the channels, the reverb disappears for about 3 seconds and then kinda fades back in.

Has anybody experienced this behavior before?

Is there, perhaps, a separate tube the drives the reverb circuit that is losing power for a moment when switching channels?

This is normal, it is to prevent the reverb from making a crashing noise when changing channels.

What Steve said.

Mesa does it on all their multi-watt heads so that the reverb doesn't have obnoxious jumps in volume when changing between various channels at different power outputs.
