RETUBING NOMAD 100 - PREAMP/POWER AMP

JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE FOUND ANY MAGIC RETUBING ONE OF THESE AMPS. I'M BUYING A USED ONE SOON AND GETTING READY TO
RETUBE IT. WOULD LIKE SOME SUGGESTIONS FOR POWER AMP AND PREAMP. MATCHED PHASE INVERTER? VI TUBE? JUST CURIOUS.

I like the Electro-Harmonix 6L6EH in my Nomad 100 212 combo. They have a lot of headroom and warmth, not fuzzy.

A friend of mine was happy with his change to Ruby tubes.

My friend has EL's in his Nomad 55's power section... Although he is not enlightened. And is using Mesa Tubes.

It sounds really cool though, He go's for the 60's rock sound. Those tubes fit his style like a glove.

SED =C= 6L6 or TAD 6L6WGC-STR soung great.

I initially used JJ 6L6s in my Nomad 55 combo - a huge improvement over the stock tubes. For the last year or so I've been running EL34s (EH) and they tightened the amp right up on all channels.
