Replacing foil shielding in Dual Rec head shell

Howdy my Boogie buddies,

Upon removing the chassis from my Dual Rectifier Trem-o-verb head I found a beverage spill on the foil shielding under the chassis opening. I really don't want to leave that stuff in there and would like to just replace the shielding.

I understand that there are two permanent screws at either end of the chassis that are meant to make contact with the foil shielding on the headshell once mounted.

Anything else I should know about this such as shielding material or other info?

Have you removed the shielding yet? You probably could just use a wet sponge to get rid of the gunk. Definitely easier than re-doing the foil.
