Removing the knobs on my Dual Recto... help!

A few of the knobs on the front end of my Dual Recto are a little loose and I'd like to remove them to make sure the hardware is secure enough and also to tighten whatever needs to be tightened.

For the life of me, when I google it, I can't find anything. Has anyone ever removed the knobs? Is there a hidden screw I'm missing or do they just pull off?

You would use an allen key to loosen the screw in the knobs (It's a small size, don't recall the exact millimeter though)
Turn the knobs to the left (off/minimum) to get to the screw.

This is helpful because I want to replace my 3 chrome volume knobs with black ones.
