Hey,
What tools do I need to take my MKIV amp out of the combo shell?
Thanks

Pretty much just a screwdriver. Just unscrew the four screws from the top and slide it out. It helps to pull the power tubes out first and gently slide the chassis out. Also disconnect the reverb tank and fan connections as well before removing it. Should be all there is too it.

Of all the amps I've ever taken out of a chassis, the Mark IV was the HARDEST to get back in. My recommendation is to setup 2 stools or saw horses, flip the head upside down, and take the screws out the top while it's upside down. Same with putting it back together.

And ya, all you need is a screw driver. Also, probably should be moved to a different forum.

Best of luck!

Thanks, it was easy to get out. :D

I did kinda screw up putting the post here...

Sorry.
