Rectoverb 50 V1 Preamp Tube Trouble?

Having trouble w/ my V1 preamp tube position blowing up or shorting out 12AX7's on me. I've replaced it 2 x's in less than 10 minutes. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

What are the odds that 2 12AX7's are bad. I'd take it to a tech. Something is not right and you could potentially damage the amp further.

Thanks for the reply, I think I will. Although, it seems to work fine right now.
