I replaced a phase inverter tube in my Recto 25 and it was a tight fit getting my hand in and out of the head. I got it done but wanted to ask if there's a better way to do this in the future. I took the power tubes out to get to the other tubes and I replaced one tube at a time with a good one until I found the bad tube in V4. Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm not an amp tech so does that just involve removing the four screws on the bottom of the head and then sliding it out? And yes I'm aware of the danger of all the caps underneath the tubes. T
