Does anyone know if there's a mode available to make the channel modes foot switchable? There are times when being able to jump between Vintage and Modern modes would be helpful.

yes. one relay switches from clean to dirty and the other toggles solo or vintage/modern.

Dontcha have a manual and footswitch? I am sure you can get manual in .pdf from Mesa's website and a footswitch not for free...

I use the relay switching from my GMajor to control the Pre's channel switching.

No, I never downloaded it and use a midi loop switcher for all channel changes. Until recently I only had the desire to use the Recto as a single channel in my rack for live purposes so I didn't delve into all the different settings once I found the one that I wanted. But that's changed, and of course I'm looking at other uses for it.
