Rectifier as power amp?

Hi !

Can a Rectifier (single or dual) be ok as a power amp, using effects return?
No harm by bypassing the recto's preamp completely, and instead using an external preamp, like my Quad for instance?


Been searching for this at Boogie Board, maybe I am not searcing good enough...?

No harm will be done by using the effects return to feed the power amp. Many amps label that jack as "Power Amp In".
