Rectifier 101: New to recto version question

I have always been a Marshal guy...I recently got a Mini Rectifier which after day 1 the modern channel is very cool...
Working on the Pushed Channel...

I am using it for a Foo Fighters Tribute.... I was thinking the two channel I can use a pedal for the "in between" or Marshally vibe sounds...they get...

So my Question is...I am thinking of getting the Big brother... Dual Rectifier ( I got a 3 channel Dual Rectifier 2010 I think...didnt really bond well) for the bigger venues...
What is the main difference between all the versions (Pre-500, reborn, 3 channel, etc)...revisions (does it matter)... Road King (which the used after the Duals they had)
I was even thinking going with a tremoverb....I always thought they sound great...

Thanks....

The main difference is the features/options.

A lot of us will argue over the difference in shades of paint like it's a big deal but at the end of the day they all sound like a Rectifier.

If you're looking to get more of his in-between sounds I think you'll be more interested in the Road King or Roadster. The reason I prefer a Roadster over a 2 channel is that a 2 channel is all or nothing (clean or high gain) without much in the middle. Having a 3rd channel gives me the option to have a middle, more moderate gain tone and adding a 4th channel gives me the option of an alternate clean (so I can have a clean clean and a broken up clean).

He's right. The Tremoverb's clean also isn't as clean as the Roadster/Road King. If you do the Foo's stuff, you want chimey cleans. You'd bond better with the Roadster/Road King.
