Well, we're all set for recording now Got an Apogee Duet today, with a Shure SM57 mic. Did some initial tests on the Mesa Express 5:50, the clean is awesome on recording. The Burn channel i have to adjust a bit... I'll post some clips this weekend for those interested, first one will be Dream Theater's Repentence solo.

It's my son who's playing, he doesn't do much of his own thing yet

He's not ready to record it yet, he wants to work on it a bit more...
