recommend good 12ax7 tubes for mark V

Hey! How goes it?

I am going to replace my v6 slot on the V and was wondering what tubes you guys have used and how they sound. I could replace it back with an original mesa tube, but whatever's cheapest and sounds ood. Thanks!

V6 probably would have little effect on your sound, so just get whatever is cheapest. Mesa uses JJ preamp tubes right now, and you can get a non-Mesa-labeled JJ for $10.

I have a Sylvania long plate 12ax7 in mine, and an RCA 12at7 in V2.
