Recoding setup

hello, wow first post ever. hehehe, anyways i have a dual recto 2x12 roadster combo and i was wondering if there is any special set up as recording goes, currently i have a shure s57 mic i front of it , then through a PA and then to an interface. any better suggestions??

If your interface has mic input, it's better to connect the 57 to the interface, then connect your interface's out or monitor out to your PA. Remember that it is better to use balanced cables (2 of them, one for L and one for R) when connecting your interface to your PA.
