This was predicted when the Mark V came out. The Mark IIC+ is a great amp, but it's not so great as to ignore the amazing design of the Mark V. Plus, the economy is terrible and noone is looking to part with their cash.
 
IIC+ for $1300? I was in the States a couple of weeks ago, these would easily go for £1000-1500 over here, equating to a $600-1500 price hike over in the UK. I haven't seen all that many on UK eBay and my bank account is much happier for it I think. Interesting to see, though. I think it has more to do with recession than the Mark V personally

If you look closely, the list does not have any highly optioned C+ amps on it. Smart people will not sell a collecters item in such bad economic times, but desperation forces the hand at times. :(
 
Most of the IIC+ amps that have come on ebay lately do not have a graphic EQ. I don't think these have the allure of one that is fully loaded.
