Hi Guys: Love the mesa gear. I've got a dual recto, road king 2, and mark iv head as well as a few different mesa cabs. Looking for a sweet, relatively portable rack set up for stereo rig. (I'd like to bring one rack to gigs rather than a head plus a rack)

Will this signal chain work well? Guitar> front of amp effects > split to triaxis and recto pre > G Major > Mesa 2: One Hundred > 2 cabs?

I've got RJ 16 switcher and Voodoo ground control already...

wondering if there is a way to set up a rig to use Triaxis and recto pre in an A/B/Y fashion, or am I better off just using one pre (A or B) and running stereo once it hits effects / 2:100? If I go that route, I'd likely just pick one pre over the other.

Once in a while, I run a stereo set up now with one pre hitting two power amps but love the idea of getting two different preamp textures. Example: One clean preamp and One soft clipping.

Thanks in advance!

you should just be able to use any normal A/B/Y box. Honestly I don't see anything relatively portable about floor effects, 2 preamps, rack processor, a 2:100 and 2 cabs! haha It definitely would be versatile.

I get your point... Currently running mono rig with head / cab / rack (for pedals/remote switching) and pedal board.

With rack pre/poweramps, I could cut carrying head out of the mix and with Mesa cabs, I can run one 4x12 or one 2x12 split stereo when I dont want to carry extra cab...
