My rack =

FURMAN PLPLUS + TRIAXIS + INTELLIFEX +XPRESSION + 2.90 .

2.90 already have a fan cooler.

But if rack s air is hot, I think 2.90 s fan cooler
will blow hot air through its tubes.

Should I put a fan behind my rack or not ?

Thanks

Is having both the Intellifex and Xpression necesscary? I would elminate one and leave an open space above the power amp for ventilation.

i apreciate but nobody answered my question.
I will not eliminate one of them because I dont have other rack to put it,so I will not put it on the ground.

A fan behind the rack will suck fresh air from outside and blow it to the inside. Not just circulate the hot air.

So I need an answer from somebody who knows electronics, of course I think if a fan behind the rack would be necessary, mesa manuals will warning but who knows.
Thanks for the answers

The question was whether you should put a fan behind your rack to increase air flow. You just answered your own question by saying:

A fan behind the rack will suck fresh air from outside and blow it to the inside. Not just circulate the hot air.

Now, if you want circulation, you either need to open space through the front of the rack (easy), or find a way to avoid laws of physics and create new cool air from inside your rack (impossible).

my question is =
Do I need a fan behind my rack to refresh triaxis and 2.90 tubes ?

I know a fan will blow fresh air inside of the rack but I dont know if they need this extra fan behind.
Maybe they dont need it.Maybe they dont get to hot.
thanks

If you're wondering if you need one, you should be asking yourself.

When you're playing do you notice alot of hot air from your rack unit after a short period of time? if you do, try to find out where the heat is coming from by either touching the unit just feeling where the hot air is coming from. If this doesn't tell you which one it is, take the units out and find out which one it is.

Alittle bit of advice, keep a space between the preamp and poweramp. If you really want a fan to be safe, which is a good idea since heat is techologys worst enemy.
