I have a Roadster 2x12 and I wanted to swap a speaker out of it. First off how many ohms per speaker are in this cab? I'd find out myself but this also leads me to my next question; how do I get inside? Do I have to take all the screws off the back or does the grille come off somehow?
I played a 2x12 Soldano cab loaded with Eminence legends and I really liked the sound it had. Someone locally happens to be selling one of these taken out of his Soldano but it's a 16 ohm. I figure one Celestion V30 and one Eminence Legend would sound ok provided the ohms match. I've heard of people mixing speakers and getting good results.
