In Ch 3, using the geq in the standard V, how do you use the bass, treb, mid controls, where do you set them¿

Also, do any of you change between modes on the fly¿ Like, change from fat to tweed, without putting the amp on standby¿ Change from 90 to 45 watts¿

EQ questions are difficult to answer. Depends on many factors, pickups, speakers, which mode you're using, the type of music you play, your taste in tone.

I recommend getting the best tone you can without the EQ, then kick in the EQ while flat. Then, work to a V-shape. No one says you have to use the traditional full-out V shape. I don't use it.

Just a general idea, on MKIV mode, I have Treble and Bass at roughly 10-11 o'clock, while the Mids leve can vary sometimes at 12 o'clock, sometimes its buried. It's more of a "feel" control.

As far as changing modes on the fly, good luck. You'll encounter different gain and volume levels as well the need to re tweak channel EQ.
