I will buy a Mark V but read that it is a medium sized head. I 've never owned a medium sized Mark head.

So I was wondering if my 1x12 EVM thiele cab will cover a medium size Mark V head?

Has anyone heard the weight of the Mark V, yet? Is it going to break my back more or less than a Mark IV?

Also, I'll miss the short head form factor.

Thanks,

Chip

better start pumping iron so you can carry your amp!!!!!! I had to start working out to be able to handle my long head nomad

Your Q is hard to understand.....

The medium heads are wider about 4 inches.
It well hang off the sides.

sorry if I didn't made my question very clear...

I'm talking about the width of the medium head matching the width of a 1x12 thiele cab.

Is the mark V medium head wider than my 1x12 thiele cab?

Yes. But I read here somewhere that they are producing a cabinet to fit it (closed back?).

nice! I didn't know they were making a matching cab for the mark V :)

It is a widebody closed-back and front ported; kind of a Thiele-style.

I ordered a Mark V head with this cabinet. I have already a widebody 1x12 that will sit perfectly between the head and the closed back cab. All of them are 22 7/8" wide.

Sorry guys but im not sure i understood, did u say they were making a new cabinet with the mark V???
Where did you read that, and if its true what will it have that is different?

Im just interested now because i wanted to order a 4X12 stilleto with my mark V

Thanks!

They're building 1x12 widebody front ported closed back cabs. They're the same width as the V head/combo so they'll fit perfectly underneath.
