Hi, I have a Boss GT-6 Guitar Effects Processor and am looking for a Petrucci-esque tone to get me through the summer… after which I will actually have a Mark-series amp. I want something like his sound on “Image and Words” or “Scenes from a Memory”.

More specifically, I would like a patch that models a smooth, creamy Mesa/Boogie Mark IIC+ lead sound, one for rhythm that resembles a Mark IV, and a third patch for his sparkly, shimmering, chorusy cleans :)

Any help would be appreciated… Keep in mind that since I’ve gotten the GT-6 I haven’t really delved into personalizing my sound too much. I found that using a factory patch as a foundation and then tweaking it to my liking actually got me a fairly good variety of sounds. So I guess what I’m trying to say is... please don’t assume that I’ll have a good ear for what might seem completely trivial to you, such as compressor settings or delay or whatever. The more details, the better! :D

Thanks a lot!!!
